Register for 2020-2021 classes now!

All students who plan on attending Culpeper County High School next school year should submit course requests for next year via Parent/Student Portal, if you have not already done so.  All teacher recommendations are visible to parents and students in Parent Portal.  Course Requests must be completed ONLINE through Parent/Student Portal now through March 27. Students must request 8 courses and 2 alternates.

Initial requests will be available in the Parent/Student Portal for review. You may make changes to those requests through spring break.  After that time course requests then become final.  Certain situations may prevent you from being able to submit your registration online. For example: Off grade level courses, Special Program courses, online courses, courses that require an IEP, and doubling up in a subject area - like Spanish 1 and 2.  If any of these situations come up please email your counselor with the specifics and we can assist you by making those courses available to you.

Students were given documents to help them compete registration during our curriculum Fair. They have also been uploaded to each student through their grade level Google Classroom. Rising 9th graders from CMS will be able to access the documents on the CMS website. The documents include: Registration Worksheet, Instructions on how to register for courses online through parent portal, and directions on how to access student Academic and Career Plans in Naviance Student.

The High School Program of Studies is available on the CCPS homepage under Quick Links. This provides course descriptions for all high school courses as well as prerequisites.

If you have any further questions about registration, please contact your high school counselor.
