Our Leadership students truly put leadership into action this week! They volunteered with the Community Christmas Basket program, helping pack boxes of food and bags of toys for families right here in our community. And they’re not done yet. Students will be back on Wednesday and Thursday evenings to help distribute all the holiday cheer. Ms. Young's English 11 class is ending the semester reading All American Boys by Jason Reynolds and Brendan Kiely. Students demonstrated their understanding of the novel's themes by creating one word graffiti posters, now displayed in the hallway. The paper for this project was donated by Natalie Hefner Art (local artist). Special recognition to Saul and Amir, who have been reading aloud as protagonists Quinn and Rashad. Their narration helps the story come alive.
