In Dr. Beres’ science class, students participated in a hands-on lab to practice using microscopes. They learned how to properly focus the microscope and adjust the settings to get a clear view of their specimens. Students carefully observed the specimens and recorded what they saw through the microscope. The lab gave everyone a chance to build their skills while exploring the microscopic world. #BDP #BetterEveryDay #ForksUp

Extracurricular Activities:
I was in Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy for 9th & 10th grade, along with the Choir in 9th & 10th grade as well. I have been in FFA since 10th grade, and served as the Secretary my junior year. I have attended many events for FFA including: Agriculture Leaders Conference (10th & 11th), STORM Conference (10th), FFA Leadership Camp (10th), COLT Conference (11th), National Convention at Indianapolis (11th), and State Convention at VA Tech, where I've competed in AG Sales (10th) and Farm Business Management (11th).
Community Service and Work:
I volunteer for various community events such as: Fauquier Health Events, Church clean-ups, FFA events, and even helping out other family members/neighbors. I usually get 1-2 volunteer hours depending on the week. For the 2026 year, I have volunteered for these events: Amissville Baptist Church Clean-up, FFA Bingo Night, The Culpeper Warming Shelter at St.Luke's, FFA Spring Fling, and FFA Banquet set-up/clean-up.
Hobbies:
Outside of school, I enjoy cooking and baking (I have taken lessons in the past), taking pictures of sunsets/mountains, scrapbooking, painting, and hanging out with my friends and family.
Future goals:
I hope to graduate high school with an advanced diploma, along with an Associates Degree from Germanna as part of the Germanna Scholars Program. I then hope to go to a 4 year college and pursue a career in the medical field.
